Schrödinger’s Cat?

cat in box

Have you heard of Schrödinger’s Cat? Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger postulated that a cat left alone in a sealed container fitted with some type of apparatus that could randomly kill the cat or not, could be thought of as both alive and dead at the same time because the apparatus to kill the cat would be completely random. You wouldn’t know which it was, alive or dead until you looked in the container and therefore it could be both alive and dead at the same time.

First of all, who pays people to think up shit like that? And if that’s all it takes to earn a living I should be a billionaire. Secondly, I have a postulation of my own. I say, until you look in the container, the cat does not exist. You can’t see it, hear it, smell it, it’s not real. So take that Schrödinger! Now, who’s going to pay me a bunch of money for that?
