Silly Rhyme

Thunder crashed,
lightning flashed,
rain poured down.

Severe storm warnings,
flash flood warnings,
all around.

Wind blew,
leaves flew,
tree limbs touched the ground.

Stay inside,
try to hide,
plugged ears to the sound.

Finally done,
sun has come,
life resumes in town.
